Chris Herwig

Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager

Chris has been with Eli Global for 5 years and is currently the head of the global M&A team, which consists of approximately 50 employees across six countries. Mr. Herwig is ultimately responsible for all aspects of the deal process including valuation, risk analysis, due diligence, and deal closing.

He serves as the CIO for Southland National Insurance Company and is responsible for risk management and the execution of Southland's investment management strategy. This strategy includes open market purchases of stocks and bonds, as well as private debt placements.

Chris holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA, with honors, from the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School. He is also a CFA charter holder.


Bridgett Hurley

Bridgett came to Eli in 1998 to edit legal publications. Since then she has been involved in more than 20 mergers and acquisitions and currently handles leadership development for all of the Eli portfolio. As a big picture thinker, Bridgett is great at taking on new strategic projects with a keen ability to coordinate the right team to drive completion. She leads the post close transition process for all Eli acquisitions.

Ms. Hurley is a strategic and intuitive facilitator who thrives on challenge and is motivated by helping new Eli business leaders succeed.

Bridgett holds a JD and an MA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.


Sean T. McNeill

Sean T. McNeill joined Eli Global in August 2013 as an Associate on the M&A team. He is responsible for all parts of the M&A process for prospective acquisitions from initial target identification, financial modeling, due diligence to the closing of deals. A strategic thinker with a corporate finance background, Sean prides himself on his detail orientation and organizational skills that he utilizes to set corporate M&A strategy, perform financial analysis, and lead due diligence teams on prospective deals.

Sean received his BS in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan Flagler Business School and has passed Level I and is a Level II Candidate of the CFA Program.


Kathy Million

M&A Team Lead

Kathy joined Eli Global in February 2014 to help build the M&A lead management and sales team and implement processes for identifying privately owned companies, managing the deal process and driving deals to close.

A strategic thinker who can simultaneously pay attention to every detail, Kathy is known for driving projects to success. Kathy’s friendly approachability and inclusive nature makes her a perfect relationship builder, with just a touch of steel about her, which shows she means business. She combines a keen business acumen with personal integrity and a sense of humor.

Kathy received her BA in Communications from Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, NC.


Dónal O’Sullivan

M&A Director, EMEA

Dónal has been with Eli Global for over two years and is currently M&A Director for EMEA. He is responsible for all parts of the M&A process for prospective acquisitions from initial target identification, financial modelling, due diligence, legal documentation, stakeholder management, deal closing and post-acquisition integration. Dónal also established and serves as non-executive director to Eli Global’s Irish & UK portfolio group company the Clanwilliam Group and its subsidiaries. Dónal holds a first class honours bachelor’s degree in Economics & Finance from University College Dublin and a Masters of Accounting from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.


Abhinav Khattar

Abhinav has been with Eli Global for 7 years and is currently managing M&A in the Asia pacific region. Based in India, he is responsible for target identifications, research, & valuations. He also manages portfolio performances reporting for ELI Global companies. A self-driven multitasker, Abhinav is passionate about getting the right deal done at the right time.

Abhinav holds a bachelor's degree in Commerce from DAV College and an MBA from T.A.Pai Management Institute. He is also a CFA charterholder.


Marty Pick

Marty joined Eli Global in February, 2014. He helps with getting deals started and pushing deals all the way through the process. Marty has been active in numerous different industries.

Marty combines his financial background with his people-skills to work with sellers on figuring out what is best for both sides. He is not afraid to get his hands dirty and enjoys learning about new businesses.

Marty received his Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Marketing from The University of Iowa.


Jean Claude Uhlenhaut

Jean Claude joined Eli Global in April 2015. Based in Malta, he is responsible for generating and managing M&A deals in various sectors including insurance, financial services and cybersecurity within the European market.

Jean Claude holds a Master of Commerce: Business Strategy from the University of New South Wales, Sydney and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Malta.
